JENNY NO CHUNG
Jenny Chung is a Korean-American entrepreneur and creative producer with a diverse portfolio spanning real estate, wellness, spirits, hospitality, and contemporary art. Originally from Seoul, she moved to the United States in 2003 and earned her B.A. in Public Health and Planning Policy from Rutgers University’s Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy — the #1 undergraduate public health program in New Jersey.
She began her career as a paralegal in a real estate law firm (2012–2014), where she gained foundational experience in real estate closings. From 2014 to 2016, she took time to raise her two children before entering entrepreneurship full-time. Between 2016 and 2018, she served as a partner and real estate developer at D2 Plus Brothers LLC, where she gained hands-on experience in property development and business operations.
Jenny is the co-founder of Purely Juiced (est. 2015), a wellness brand with locations in Hoboken and Fort Lee, NJ, offering organic, cold-pressed juices, plant-based meals, and holistic cleanses rooted in whole-food nutrition. She later became an investor and partner in several ventures across food, beverage, and lifestyle, including:
- Mezcal Campante, a premium artisanal mezcal brand known for its smooth, approachable flavor profile and commitment to Oaxacan tradition and small-batch craftsmanship.
- Love Korean BBQ, a modern Korean barbecue restaurant in NYC’s Koreatown, celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere, upscale menu, and broad cultural appeal among both locals and international guests.
- Planted Seeds, a wellness brand focused on high-quality sea moss products, rooted in sustainable, environmentally friendly practices. The company sources responsibly from ethical producers and is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint while supporting local communities and environmental conservation.
Known for her instinctive talent in branding and brand naming, Jenny has played a pivotal role in shaping the identities of each of her ventures with clarity, character, and cultural appeal.
From 2023 to 2024, she owned and operated Vera Caffe before selling the business. In September 2023, she became Program Director and Partner at Studio AP Space LLC, operating as “The Chelsea Space at AP Space Gallery,” located in New York’s Chelsea art district. There, she coordinated artist exhibitions and led special programming — including A.T.O: A Beautiful Gift, a major group exhibition held in the fall of 2024. The show featured six renowned Korean artists — Park Seo-Bo, Lee Ufan, Park Suk Won, Kim Kang Yong, Kang Hyung Koo, and Lee Lee Nam — and was co-hosted in collaboration with celebrated Korean actress and content director Kim Hee Seon.
In 2025, Jenny co-founded J2 Brand, a creative venture rooted in her passion for branding, cross-cultural storytelling, and building platforms where commerce, culture, and identity intersect.
Jenny is passionate about creating businesses that connect people, ideas, and experiences — always with an eye for meaningful design and long-lasting impact.
